The Lone Star center back began the 2024-2025 Czech Republic topflight season on a shinning note, scoring in a 3-1 win for Viktoria Plzen.
Sampson Dweh scored, as Viktoria Plzen defeated newly promoted Czech top league club, Dukla Prague 3-1to mark the start of the new season.
Dweh scored from the spot in the 19th minute to put Plzen ahead, before Pavel Sulc added the second with Jan Peterka’s own goal increasing the tally to 3-0.
Substitute Filip Spatenka scored the cancellation for Dukla Prague in the 81st minute.
Dweh inked a permanent deal with Plzen early this year having impressed the technical team with an outstanding performance on loan last season.
The former LPRC Oilers center back joined Plzen officially from MFK Vyskov on a three-year contract for a fee up to 400k euroes.
