Liberia First Division Club, LPRC Oilers have unveiled Moutarr Fofana as the club new Head Coach.
Fofana reportedly signed a two-season contract with the Gardnerville outfit, which will keep him at the club until 2026.
The former Invincible Eleven (IE) and Oilers player replaced Jenkins Doe, who guided the club to a 8th placed finish last season.
Fofana who played for LPRC Oilers from 1997-1998, allegedly resigned from Gardnersville FC last season owing to administrative issues.
He previously served as deputy coach of the local National team, and the U-20 National team as well.
The 46-year old was in charge of Muscat FC during the 2017-2018 season when the club gained promotion to the second tier of Liberian football.
The following year, Fofana moved to the defunct Barrack Young Controller-II, where he won the second division title, and 2nd Division Best Coach of the Year that season.
A son of Nimba County, Mouctar Fofana won as well the 2021 – 2022 – 2023 National County Sports Meet (football titles) with his native Nimba.
