French League one club, Lille beat Slavia Prague 2-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Play-off Round tonight.
Liberian international, Oscar Dorley was once present everywhere on the pitch, but Lille quality in squad depth was visible.
Goals from Jonathan David and Edon Zhegrova propelled Lille for a Champions League slot.
Dorley and Slavia were unbeaten in 14 matches before heading to the fixture, with seven of those coming since the start of their domestic season last month.
The Czech side had won their previous six games.
Slavia will hope to recover their momentum in the return match in Czech Republic next Wednesday, with hopes of a place in the Champions League’s new league phase waning.
Dorley and teammates will however qualify automatically to the group stage of the Europa League this season, if the results don’t go their way.
