Mighty Barrolle are in pole position to defend the Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) First League title ,as they continue their flying start to the season. The Rollers made it two wins out of two matches on Sunday in the Second Phase of LBA league , defeating last season finalists, LTC Bushrod Bulls for the third time this season. Three players of the Liberia Amputee National Football Team were involved in a motor-accident on 16 July along the RIA Highway. The trio boarded a Tricycle while in route home from a gathering at the office of the Liberia Amputee Football and Sports Association in Paynesville. They are John Paye, Matric Anderson and Henry Dennis alais Agogo. According to journalist Solomon Harmon, one of the three sustained serious injuries. The accident victims are currently undergoing medical treated at the ELWA Hospital in Paynesville.

Scottish Championship club, Livingston FC have confirmed the departure of Liberian international Mohammed Sangare. The Liberian international joined Livingston in June 2023 from English fourth tier club Accrington Stanley. During his time at Livingston, Sangare made 33 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists. The 25-year old made his debut for the Liberia national football team on 24 March 2019 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against DR Congo, coming on as a 73rd-minute substitute for Allen Njie.

Wonder kid Devine Teah has finally made his senior debut for Harmmarby Football Club. The  Liberian international  played  six-minutes in Harmmarby 1-0 home defeat to IFK Göteborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan over the weekend. Teah signed a four-year professional contract with the Swedish first tier Club in April, which will keep The former Nimba FC midfielder in Sweden until 2028. The 18-year old already has 10 international caps with the Lone Star, and has scored twice for the Red, White and Blue.

Ativor Holali has joined Sierra Leone women’s premier league champions, Mogbwemo Queens FC on a short-term loan from World girls FC (Liberia). Mogbwemo Queens are re-enforcing their squad in preparation for the CAF Women’s Champions League preliminary qualifiers, which to be staged at the Southern Arena, in Bo City, Sierra Leone next month. Liberia First Division Club, LPRC Oilers have unveiled Moutarr Fofana as the club new Head Coach. Fofana reportedly signed a two-season contract with the Gardnerville outfit, which will keep him at the club until 2026. The former Invincible Eleven (IE) and Oilers player replaced Jenkins Doe, who guided the club to a 8th placed finish last season. Fofana who played for LPRC Oilers from 1997-1998, allegedly resigned from Gardnersville FC last season owing to administrative issues.
