The Belgian coach has completed his first training session in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. Ivan Minnaert kicked off his preseason tour at the Jewel Sports City in the early morning on Sunday with 23 players. Coach Minnaert was ably assisted by his deputy Matthew Julutweh, physical trainer Hanim nawfal and goalkeeper trainer Edwin Kai. Despite the rigmarole over the status of monthly salary, the British-Rominaian has released a provisional local-based squad to begin preparation for clashes with Togo and Algeria. Lone Star Coach Mario Marinica has invited 32 home-based players to begin training in preparation for the Lone Star’s upcoming fixtures against Togo and Algeria in the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers. FC Fassell delegation that departed Liberia early Thursday, spent the day in the Moroccan economic capital, Casablanca. The 32-man delegation arrived safely at Mohammed V International Airport @10am, following a four-hour flight. An advance team is expected to leave Casablanca at 1am Moroccan time on Friday for Cairo, Egypt. The group will be joined by the remaining members of the delegation on Saturday morning.
