Liberian international Sampson Dweh and Oscar Dorley will feature in this season UEFA Europa league Phase (formerly group stage).
Defender Dweh helped Viktoria Plzen secured their spot by defeating Scottish club Hearts in both legs, advancing with a 2-0 aggregate.
The Liberian center-back continues his impressive form, having played every minute of Plzen’s matches so far this season.
Slavia Prague, the Club side of midfielder Oscar Dorley failed to reach the group stage of the Uefa Champions League, despite a 2-1 home win against French side Lille on Wednesday.
Praha lost 3-2 on aggregate. They were defeated 2-0 in France last week.
Meanwhile Liberian winger, Mohammed Kamara and CFR 1907 Cluj were knocked out of this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League following a 3-0 second-leg defeat in Cyprus to Pafos FC in the final qualifying round.
This came after Cluj won the first leg 1-0 in Romania. Kamara played the final half-hour of the match after coming off the bench.
