Arku Morris future with FC Fassell seem to be after the Club announced on Friday that it’s opened to negotiation with clubs interested in signing the player.
The skillful midfielder has a year left on his current deal with FC Fassell, and discission to extend the his contract beyond 2025 has to been stalled.
“FC Fassell wish to inform the sporting public that its Vice President Newton Campbell is not stalling any move or progress for player Arku Morris contrary to news making the rounds on social media.
“Arku has a one-year contract with FC Fassell and was offered a two-year extension deal with an improved salary.
“Arku refused the offer on ground that what was offered to him was little. On the contrary Arku wants to leave FC Fassell as a free player which the club have rejected.
“Fassell is open to negotiation with any club having interest in Arku,” the statement posted on FC Fassell facebook page reads.
Arku Morris helped FC Kallon-Liberia, which was eventually renamed FC Fassell escaped relegation last season, but he didn’t traveled with the team to Egypt, where the ’Soccer Missionaries are holding a three-week preseason training to prepare for the new league season.
