Liberia’s first-ever silver and gold medalist Ebony Morrison at the African Championship, Ebony Morrison has qualified for the semifinal of the women’s 100m hurdles.
The two-time Olympian and African Champion clinched first place in the repechage heat-2 with a time of 12.82 seconds.
Morrison is Liberia’s record holder(12.70) in the 100mH and a member of the national-record-setting 4×100 women’s relay team(42.93).
She will hit the track running on Friday, August 9, for the second time in the women’s 100mH semifinal.
The Liberian had a phenomenon Olympics debut at the Tokyo Games, where she ran a time of 12.74 in the semifinals to set a national record; but sadly missed out on the final.
